A breath of cool, crisp, damp air,
Quietly awakens my body, mind and soul
Each deep breath brings serenity and peace
Each slow exhale releases fear and worry
Welcoming the peace of God’s creation
Purple, orange, pink
God’s canvas laid across the sky
Gently I close my eyes
Forever remebering the beauty abound
The taste of ice cream on my tongue
Loves sweet kiss lingers on my lips
Embracing God’s sweetness in my heart
Heavenly music besets around me
The croak of a frog
The song of the loon
The soft splash of the water as a duck glides in
Overcome with serenity
The blessing in a day
In a moment
In a second
Nurturing my relationship with God
Knowing him
Trusting him
Loving him
Letting go
Letting God
